McMillin Realty welcomes recently licensed
agents and prospective agents who are currently enrolled
to take the California Department of Real Estate (DRE)
Real Estate exam, to investigate the opportunities
with our nationally recognized real estate company.
Some of our outstanding business recognition comes
from our training and mentoring programs, essential for
new agents to succeed in the business of real estate.
In addition, we have many other opportunities we invite

This two week program runs
from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday and
is offered each month. Set in our Carmel Mountain
Ranch office, our Partners for Success program
is taught by our Branch Managers to small class
sizes allowing more time for individual help.
Each new agent receives detailed technical
knowledge before meeting with clients. We concentrate
on the essentials, such as two full days on
the Purchase Contract. You will learn about
costs, how to price a property, setting goals
and what is important during a listing appointment.

The second course our new agents
enroll in is our Ideal Agent Program. Bring
your computer to class as our high-tech manager
will give hands-on instruction. You will be
downloading software and learning how to use
it throughout a fast-paced three day course.
This a contact management program, marketing design program,
cost sheet program, mailing program and even
digital camera instruction. The course always
closes with rave reviews from our new agents.
It is a "can't miss " class! Again
this training is free to all of our agents. Click

The three months following
Partners for Success, our new agents attend
a weekly two-hour training session in their
own office (or a nearby office). This time is set
aside by our managers to give new agents a
chance to practice and master what was learned
during Partners for Success. As you gain experience,
new questions will arise and you will have
the opportunity to learn from managers who
have had many years of experience.
Just learning the information
is not enough. You must learn how to talk with
sellers and buyers, how to lead them to a decision.
That is best learned through script practice.
Each office has script practice session in
the morning, followed by the new agents making
their contact calls for the day. This is accomplished
in a positive, group setting. You will find
that the scripting is one of our company's
greatest training assets. This training is
free to all of our agents.
We offer an optional mentor
program in every office. New agents can team up with an experienced agent who is available for questions and to help with paperwork on a couple of listings and a couple of sales. A comforting program for both new agents as well as for our customers, bringing confidence and experienced to every transaction. While not as formal but just as helpful is the fact that McMillin employs only full-time agents in each office creatinga team of professionals able to collaborate as well as network.
Our managers have been trained
by a nationally recognized coach, Dyan Dobbyn,
on exactly how to help agents achieve great
heights. This managers' coaching, centers on
each individual agent's goals and business
plan. Meet with the manager weekly to evaluate
your progress and set the next week's course
of action. Many new agents an advanced agents
have found coaching to be an essential part
of their success.
Each year, our agents come
together to learn about the newest laws and
changes that effect our business. We have attorneys
speak, specialists in particular areas, advise
us, and discuss recent company experiences
- all designed to make our agents the most
knowledgeable in the business. This is free
to all of our agents.
Computers and software programs
are a constant source of challenge! We pay
an in-office specialist to advise you. We also
have a Help Desk that is free to our agents
Every quarter, we have a "Web
Training Day" designed to educate agents
new to McMillin Realty on our Client Care system that handles
web leads. In addition, we have scheduled
training sessions on the agent web office,
agent web pages and the company web site.

Technology
McMillin Realty's technical services are not "paid
for" options; they are free to our agents. Agent's
phone equipment includes direct lines, call forwarding
and voice mail. Upon joining the company, agents are
assigned a personalized email account and a web page.
This web pages is not only integrated into the McMillin
Realty web site, but also functions independently. You
can direct your clients to you web page with your own
URL and they can cruise the entire McMillin site, all
the while framed within your individual web page. We have
a "back office" or intranet, that posts your
production on a a "real time" basis, as well
as provides you with a wealth of information. If you think
our web site is impressive, our web office is also top-of-the-line.
All of this technology is free to our agents. |
Non-Competing Management
Our Realty Branch Managers and Assistant Managers do
not sell. They do not compete with our agents. Instead,
their success if found only through your success. We
pride ourselves in having the best managers in the
business: knowledgeable, energetic, realtors who work
with integrity and who "do the right thing".
