San Diego Real Estate License School

Starting on October 1st, 2007, an applicant for the real estate salesperson examination must show proof of three courses prior to the state exam. Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one other course from a designated list will be required

The pre-license package includes:

This pre-license package includes Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one other course from the designated list provided by the DRE. You will choose the third course from a drop-down menu on a subsequent screen.

Each course includes a printed textbook, on-line homework assignments, and online final exam. The Chamberlin courses have been approved by the California Department of Real Estate and fulfill the education requirement to qualify for the state-administered examination. $10 will be added to your order for shipping and handling. In addition to the written book of state exam practice questions, you will receive a set of four audio CDs. These CDs contain a condesed version of the class presentation and are a great way to increase your study time. Use the CDs when driving, at the gym, or even in the shower - without much effort you will pick up key points essential to passing your state exam.

	Successfully complete the three required courses and exams to receive your "Certificates of Completion".
	Mail or fax the completed "Department of Real Estate State Salesperson Examination Application" along with your "Certificates of Completion" and appropriate fees. The DRE will notify you of your exam date/time/location. Please note: Exams may be scheduled online at www.dre.ca.gov using the E-Licensing Option
	Complete the State Exam Practice Question Workbook. (Practice test workbook-included in your licensing school program)
	Once a date is set for your exam, call the Real Estate School Administrator and schedule your one-day weekend crash course. (Crash course - included in your licensing school program)
	Successfully pass the DRE - "State Salesperson Exam."
	Submit the Salesperson License application ($145.00* to the DRE), have fingerprints taken ($56.00** to Department of Justice), and submit your Certificate of passing the DRE "State Salesperson Exam".
